Megan Quinn aged 15 years 10 months has gone solo

Congratulations to Megan Quinn who recently went solo!! Megan is 15 years and 10 months old and is a keen and enthusiastic member. She started with the going for solo course in December and has steadily been building her skills until the big day came along.

Megan's constant 'shadow' has been her father Richard who has been taxi service and support when Megan comes to fly. Richard has been great in helping around the field with the days activities, so he's been very popular.

Megan's ambition is to become a commercial pilot so she's started in the right direction! Imagine flying before you can drive! Some great stories to tell at school – they'll all be jealous and amazed. A few more hours and she'll be joining us joining cross-country blasting across the skies!

Megan, all the members of the Gliding Club of Victoria congratulate you and wish you many more hours of enjoyment in the skies.
