The Club is in need of a volunteer for Contest director of the Xmas comp due to John Millott stepping down having done it for a number of years. The Xmas comp starts after Boxing Day and runs for about a week. The competition involves mainly members flying Club and privately owned gliders and it is intended to be a friendly and fun comp.

The duties of the Contest director would be to run the Xmas comp over its duration and to make preparations in the lead-up. Being a Club operation I'm sure there would be assistance from many quarters.

Thanks go to John for his efforts in running the Xmas comp in recent years. I expect John would be happy to fill you in on the tasks involved.
