Robert Dorning and I have delivered MCF's repaired engine to the Bendigo repair shop after picking it up from John Gwyther, who in turn brought it up from Sale.

There we saw evidence that good progress had been made on the repair: one wing is ready to be re bagged, the under cart has been fitted, the cockpit has been re-welded, new window frames have been fabricated and various other parts as well.

It was an impressive sight, managed by a very competent person. Based on what we saw, it could be said that we will see MCF back at Benalla in circa six weeks.
